I've worked and consulted on marketing campaigns for musicians, events, projects, theatre shows and university courses. From 2012-2014 ran my own digital communications company, Fiend Digital, which specialised in establishing up-and-coming artists in the online market, offering digital strategy, PR and social media services. Clients included the likes of Murkage, Distinction, Kojey Radical, Denzel Himself, S.A.S, ItsNate and more. I currently do copywriting work for artists, writing promotional materials such as biographies and press releases.
I also work as part of BadTasteCru, organising and developing marketing strategy for their annual sell-out Just Jam Intl festival, which takes place in Dance City as part of Juice Festival, and continues to grow every year.
As part of a project with Swallows Foundation, I developed a social media plan to share projects - which take place between the North East of England and South Africa's Eastern Cape - with their communities on either side of the partnership. This plan was implemented in South Africa where I have since returned to as a consultant and to assist in further growth of the project.
Other clients have included Leeds Beckett University, where I worked on building an online presence for the School Of Art, Architecture & Design, and theatre company, Curious Monkey, where I was involved in a project surrounding young people's engagement with music.
